Acne is an extremely common skin condition and can happen to both young and old alike. Although the condition is most prevalent on a person’s face it can sometimes be found on other parts of the body including the back, chest, shoulders, legs as well as the buttocks. But luckily today there are a number of different types of acne remedies that people can use for treating this particular skin condition.

Many people who suffer from acne today rather than using medications those they have been prescribed by their doctor or which can be brought over the counter are using more natural ones instead. Below we take a look at some of the natural remedies that one can easily use for treating this particular kind of skin condition.

1. Tea Tree Oil - Is an extremely popular way for treating acne and all you need to do is dilute a small amount of the tea tree essential oil and then apply directly on to the acne spots. This particular remedy is effective because it contains a property known as terpinen-4-ol, which has good anti-bacterial qualities. It is these qualities that help to kill off the bacterium, which actually causes the spots to form.

2. Zinc - Yet another very popular remedy for acne even though it is not as effective as some of the medications that are prescribed or can be brought over the counter. But although it can help to reduce the acne there are some side effects associated with using zinc one of them being it can upset a person’s digestive system. Plus taking too much could actually cause other medical problems in the future.

3. Garlic - Again just like the tea tree oil this contains anti-bacterial qualities and when applied directly to the infected area helps to bring down the swelling as well as killing of the bacteria inside. People prefer to either apply crushed garlic or the juice directly to the area; however you will have to put up with the smell if you choose to use this remedy.

4. Lemons - These are another effective way of treating acne as they contain high levels of Vitamin C, which can help to boost a person’s immune system. A boosted immune system means that the body is better able to fight off the bacterium that is causing the acne to appear.

You can either drink more lemon juice or another way is by mixing the juice with some rosewater and then applying directly to the affected skin area. Once the solution has been applied using a cotton wool ball you need to leave the area alone for around 30 minutes in order that the skin can absorb it. This particular remedy for treating acne needs to be applied on to the skin every two to three times each day.

As well as the acne remedies we have mentioned above there are plenty more that you may want to try all safe and effective. A quick search of the internet and you will soon discover plenty of other natural remedies, which can be made using products you have at home for a lot less money than those your doctor prescribes or which you can buy at your local drug store.

Are you one of the lucky few who do not have acne on your face? Figures shows that almost half of adult women are affected by acne and almost a quarter of adult men as well. It is not just a teenagers probllem, it affected everybody regardless of age and gender. For people who have acne, getting rid of it is not an easy thing.

There are many different forms of treatment for acne, from creams and lotions to surgical procedures. Before it gets to that point, though, there are certain home remedies for acne prevention that you could try. This article will take a look at some of these home remedies and their effectiveness.

Basic Acne Remedies You Can Try At Home.

The best home remedy to stop acne is in knowing how to properly care for your skin. Even though you can’t totally prevent acne from occurring, this can definitely increase your chances. Sometimes acne appears because of the way we clean our skin or because of the products that we use on it. Changing some of our bad habits can give us a head start on preventing this condition.

The first thing a dermatologist would tell you is to gently wash your face with a mild cleanser. Too often, people have problems with their skin because they over wash their face or use cleansers that are too harsh. When choosing skin care products, try to avoid oil-based products as they can contribute to the clogging of pores that usually results in blemishes.

If you do find pimples or blackheads on your skin, do not pop or squeeze them. There’s no better way to spread acne to other parts of your body. Also, avoid touching your face during the day unless you have to. The grease and oils on your hands will clog your pores and increase your chances of developing acne.

How About Good Old Habit Of Eating Right And Exercise

Home remedies and cure for acne can take many different forms. Stress management can definitely go in this category. Stress is a known contributor to the onset of acne, especially adult acne. Any steps you can take to reduce or eliminate some of the stress in your life can help prevent acne from occurring.

Many people do not realize it, but regular exercise is one of the best home remedies for acne prevention. Obviously, it has many health benefits, but exercise is a great way to reduce stress. It also provides the skin with the necessary blood flow and oxygen that it needs to stay healthy.

Other home remedies for acne prevention involve what you put in your body, rather than what you put on it. Drinking plenty of water each day has many benefits for your skin. Not only will it keep your skin hydrated, it will also flush the toxins out of your skin that could lead to infection.

Managing acne problem just like any other skin problem or health problem in general, starts with good diet and healthy lifestyles. Consume plenty of fruits and vegetables, also getting proper amount of mineral and vitamins are essential for your healthy skin. As simple as that your acne problem is manageable with your healthy lifestyle.
